Although listed for Croatia by some authors ( Kirby 1906, Heller & Willemse 2013), no faunistic records exist. Presence in Croatia is likely, but its taxonomic relationship with Z. amplipennis , recently recorded for Croatia, remains unresolved (see comments under Z. amplipennis ).
