First faunistic record for Croatia: Heller 1988 (after Schumacher 1978)

Distribution in Croatia: Rovinj ( Istria). Introduced African species, differs from R. nitidula by a smaller number of stridulatory teeth (64–86 vs. > 120). Another introduced population in Europe recorded in Bodensee ( Germany) ( Heller 1988).
