Diagnosis. Pronotum subrectangular, sides strongly rounded in anterior third and very weakly convergent in posterior third; in males metaventrite in middle slightly concave and metaventral process slinghtly broader than 1/4 of maximum metaventral width, posteromesal margin straight; lateral projections slightly longer than broad; aedeagus in ventral view with elongate subtrapezoidal apical part with nearly parallel subapical lateral margins; parameres in ventral view strongly broadened except for rapidly and strongly narrowed apical parts, which are strongly divergent and each bearing long apical seta directed distomesally.

Description. Male. Body length 1.50–1.54 mm, moderately convex; head, pronotum and antennae reddishbrown, elytra brown, tarsi and mouth parts yellowish, legs light brown, setation yellowish.

Head broadest across moderately large eyes; length 0.16–0.18 mm, width 0.30–0.31 mm; frontoclypeal region subtrapezoidal, slightly convex; vertex slightly convex; supraantennal tubercles weakly raised. Puncturation on frontoclypeal region and vertex fine, very sparse; setation moderately long, very sparse, suberect. Length of antennae 0.65–0.69 mm; antennomeres I–II subcylindrical, 1.5 times as long as broad, antennomere III nearly as long as broad, antennomeres IV–V slightly longer than broad, VI subquadrate, VII spherical, VIII subtrapezoidal, IX transverse, 1.3 times as broad as long, X transverse, 1.4 times as broad as long, XI subconical, 1.7 times as long as broad.

Pronotum subrectangular, moderately convex, widest slightly anterior to middle, length 0.44–0.46 mm, width 0.52–0.54 mm, with broadly rounded anterior margin, posterior margin weakly biemarginate. Lateral carina wellmarked, microserrate, sides strongly rounded in anterior third and very weakly convergent in posterior third, posterior corners almost right. Puncturation very fine, moderately dense, composed of small and shallow punctures; setation moderately long, suberect to erect.

Elytra oval, elongate, moderately convex, length 0.88–0.91 mm, width 0.60–0.63 mm, EI 1.44–1.48; widest slightly anterior to middle; apices of elytra separately and weakly rounded. Each elytron with single basal fovea located in middle between humerus and scutellum; humeral carina as long as 1/7 of elytral length. Puncturation moderately coarse, punctures shallow, distance between punctures 0.6–1.5 times of their diameter. Setation moderately long, suberect to erect.

Metaventrite in middle slightly concave, sparsely punctured, distance between punctures 0.5–1.5 times of their diameter with moderately short and erect setation; metaventral process slightly broader than 1/4 of maximum metaventral width, posteromesal margin straight; lateral projections slightly longer than broad, apex of each forming sharp angle with pointed tip.

Aedeagus ( Figs. 23–24 View FIGURES 23 – 26 ) length 0.51–0.54 mm, in ventral view with elongate subtrapezoidal apical part with nearly parallel subapical lateral margins; parameres in ventral view strongly broadened except for rapidly and strongly narrowed apical parts, which are strongly divergent and each bearing long apical seta directed distomesally; endophallus as in Fig. 25 View FIGURES 23 – 26 , very small.

Legs moderately long and slender; protibiae as in Fig. 26 View FIGURES 23 – 26 .

Female. Very similar to male, except metaventrite which is weakly convex in middle; body length 1.44–1.48 mm; head length 0.16–0.17 mm, width 0.29–0.30 mm; length of antennae 0.63–0.66 mm; pronotum length 0.43–0.44 mm, width 0.51–0.53 mm; length of elytra 0.84–0.88 mm, width of elytra 0.57–0.60 mm; EI 1.44–1.47.

Distribution. South-eastern Serbia.

Etymology. This species is dedicated to Serbia, a country of its discovery.

Remarks. This new species is similar to C. remisianum sp. n., but it can be distinguished by the following combination of characters: 1) in males the metaventrite in the middle slightly concave; the metaventral process slightly broader than 1/4 of maximum metaventral width; males of C. remisianum have the metaventrite in middle with an oval impression, the metaventral process distinctly narrower than 1/3 of maximum metaventral width, and 2) a different structure of the aedeagus.
