Type species: Periacma ferialis Meyrick, 1894
Diagnosis. Periacma is similar to Irepacma Moriuti, Saito & Lewvanich, 1985 , Ripeacma Moriuti, Saito & Lewvanich, 1985 and Epiracma Wang & Li, 2005 by sharing a two-segmented labial palpus. Periacma can be distinguished from Ripeacma by the absence of the transtilla, from Irepacma by the presence of the short and setose dorso-proximal process of the valva, and from Epiracma by the developed apophyses anteriores.
