Trineura punctipennis Zetterstedt, 1848 .
This species was described from a single female from Malta. The male was described from Tenerife (Disney 1990).
Previous records
Tenerife.
New records
Five males, 10 females La Gomera, Lomo de Majona , 600 m, 8–24 July 1993 ( R. Hutterer); males and females, Barranco Machoua, 2 February 1994 ( R. Hutterer) .
Natural history
The specimens from La Gomera were all reared from dead snails, Hemicycla efferata (Mousson) .
