Anisagrion Selys, 1876

Medium-sized, green and black damselflies with a pale preapical abdominal tip ( Fig. 15 ) that inhabit marsh and seepage areas thick with aquatic plants; the thorax and anterior abdominal segments of immature individuals are mostly orange. For species identification see De Marmels & Garrison (2005); Tennessen (2012b) described the nymph of A. inornatum .
