Oreiallagma von Ellenrieder & Garrison, 2008

Two of the five known species occur in Ecuador. Adults are mainly blue and black, of medium size with an elongate abdomen ( Fig. 26 ); young adults are reddish brown. The latest taxonomic treatment was by von Ellenrieder & Garri- son (2008a). Little is known about the habitat, but at least one species was found to breed in water-filled bromeliads, at relatively high elevations.
