Remarks. See Dondale & Redner (1982), Penniman (1985), and Chamé-Vázquez & Jiménez (2022) for diagnostic characteristics and discussions on the conformation of the copulatory organs. Only two of the eight Mexican species are known from both sexes: S. coahuilana (Gertsch & Davis, 1940) and S. elpotosi Chamé-Vázquez & Jiménez, 2022 ( World Spider Catalog 2023). Furthermore, the Mexican species S. adjacens (Gertsch & Davis, 1940) , S. approximata (Gertsch & Davis, 1940) , S. tamaulipana (Gertsch & Davis, 1940) , and S tepejicana (Gertsch & Davis, 1940) are known from males only, while S. debilis (Gertsch & Davis, 1940) and S. diversa (Gertsch & Davis, 1940) are known from females only.
