Oxythyrea gronbechi Petrovitz, 1955

Material examined. INDIA (JAMMU AND KASHMIR): Manas Bal., Dal Lake, 12.vi.2013, Nishiyama leg. (12 ♂♂ and 4 ♀♀ in SJCP).

Distribution. This species was originally described from eastern Afghanistan ( Petrovitz 1955). The above mentioned specimens from Manas Bal are the first record for India (Jammu and Kashmir).
