Chelolepadinae Ross & Frick, 2007b: 24, nom. nud.
Type genus. Chelolepas Ross & Frick, 2007: 3 ; by monotypy.
Diagnosis (amended). Wall cylindrical; parities without midribs and major basal teeth; with relatively large, outward-projecting, sutural eminencies each formed by pair of abutting flanges; parities with small longitudinal tubes which develop between fine basal teeth rather than as external tubes that develop between T-shaped ribs in Tubicinella .
Genus and species included. Chelolepas cheloniae ( Monroe & Limpus, 1979) .
Remarks. This species was originally described as Tubicinella cheloniae Monroe & Limpus, 1979 .
