Material examined. 1 ♀, labeled ‘ Sarawak, v.1978, Gunung Mulu N. P. , 50–100 m, Hammond, Marshall / Alluv. for., litter, B. M. 1978-49 / Horniella sp. 8, ♀, det. Z.-W. Yin, 2014’ ( MHNG).
Measurements. Female ( Fig. 51 View FIGURE 51 B). BL 3.88 mm, HL 0.87 mm, HW 0.73 mm, PL 0.81 mm, PW 0.71 mm, EL 0.94 mm, EW 1.32 mm, AL 1.26 mm, AW 1.35 mm. Each eye composed of about 40 facets.
Distribution. East Malaysia: Sarawak ( Map 6 View MAP 6 ).
Remarks. This female is similar to those of H. smetanai in external appearance, but the structure of the genital complex is quite different ( Fig. 52 View FIGURE 52 H, versus Fig. 49 View FIGURE 49 H), indicating a separate species.
