Nitokra typica mihi – Boeck (1865): 274, type locality – Haugesund, Norway. Nitocra typica, Boeck 1865 – Sars (1911): 212 – 213.
Nitocra typica was found in tidal pools with more-or-less brackish waters on the West coast of Norway and in the fjord Trondheimsfjorden, Middle Norway (Sars 1911). Sars did not report it from pure fresh waters . Boeck (1865) found it near Haugesund (Rogaland county,Western Norway).
