Canthocamptus gracilis sp. nov. – Sars ( 1863 a): 22 – 23, type locality – most likely Lake Sognsvann in Oslo.

Sars ( 1863 a, 1911; see Table 1 View Table 1 , Supplementary material 1, for archive item Ms. Fol. 1009: 613) found this species occasionally in the littoral of small lakes rich in vegetation, in the vicinity of Oslo (Lake Sognsvann), and also in a few other localities in Southern Norway (see Table 1 View Table 1 , Supplementary material 1, for archive item Ms. Fol. 1009: 468, no. 68).
