Remarks.

According to the recent molecular study by Kaspřák et al. (2019: Fig. 1 View Figure 1 ), the genus Novakia Strobl, 1893 apparently belongs to the subfamily Gnoristinae . However, as the authors did not have further discussion about this relationship, I follow the current classification in Fungus Gnats Online (http://www.sciaroidea.info/).
