This genus is endemic to the Atlantic Forest of Brazil, from which the transferred species were collected. The genus now contains 3 species. Characteristics contained by the transferred species that allowed generic assignment are the following: head with convex vertex; robust body and shortened tarsi; presence of basal swelling on femora III; presence of small tufts of setae in abdominal sterna; similar morphology of teminalia.
