H o s t p l a n t: Ch. jaceae normally attacks species of the subgenus Jacea of Centaurea , but in Italy is also attacks Ce. (Phalolepis) alba (WHITE & MARQUARDT 1989).
D i s t r i b u t i o n: Europe, Near East (WHITE & MARQUARDT 1989). New record for the fauna of Iran.
