( Figs. 13–21 View FIGURES 13–21 )
Examined material: 10 egg-larvae from female captured in Lazdijai district, N54.24063, E23.51554, 11 VI 2011, eggs were laid on 14 V1 2011, egg-larvae hatched on 26 VI 2011; 33 egg-larvae from female captured in Lazdijai district , N54.24067, E23.51526, 11 VI 2011 GoogleMaps , eggs were laid on 13 V1 2011, egg-larvae hatched on 28 VI 2011.
First instar larva. Length 2.17–2.20 mm, width 0.40–0.42 mm. Body covered with pale microscopic hairs. Cuticle transparent.
Head capsule. Length 0.40–0.41 mm, width 0.22–0.23 mm. In general, very similar to that of T. (L.) vernalis . Differences were noticed in shape of hypostomium, mandible, antenna and arrangement of sensory structures on labrum and frontoclypeus. Hypostomium bears five sharp long teeth which are longer than in T. (L.) vernalis ( Fig. 13 View FIGURES 13–21 ). Mandible generally very similar to that of T. (L.) vernalis , but shape of apical tooth slightly different ( Fig. 14 View FIGURES 13–21 ). Segment of antenna differ from that of T. (L.) vernalis ( Fig. 15 View FIGURES 13–21 ). Labrum in general very similar to that of T. (L.) vernalis , but there are one long and three short setae on anterior part of labral lobe ( Fig. 16 View FIGURES 13–21 ). Arrangement of setae on frontoclypeus is slightly different ( Fig. 17 View FIGURES 13–21 ).
Thorax. All thoracic segments short and wide, covered with microscopic hairs.
Abdomen. Abdominal segments longer than wider, covered with short hairs. Setae light brown. Seta D5 very short; D1 twice as long as D5; D6, D4 and D3 twice as long as D1; D3 more than five times as long as D1. Setae D2–D3 and D5–D6 make pairs and are very close to each other ( Fig. 18 View FIGURES 13–21 ). V1 absent. V2 very short. V5 twice as long as V2. V3 and V4 equal in length and four times as long as V5. V2–V3 and V4–V5 make pairs and are close to each other ( Fig. 19 View FIGURES 13–21 ). L1 and L2 close to each other, L4 the most distant from the rest of setae ( Fig. 20 View FIGURES 13–21 ). L1 very short, L2 and L4 equal in length and three times as long as L1. L3 twice as long as L1.
Spiracular disc. Spiracular field surrounded by four flat round-tipped lobes ( Fig. 21 View FIGURES 13–21 ). Lateral lobe slightly wider than longer at the base, partly (inner part) covered with dark elongated wedge-shaped sclerite. It has three long stout apical bristles. Each bristle almost seven times as long as the lobe. Length of ventral lobe is almost as wide at the base, lobe completely covered with large pale sclerite. The lobe bears four tufts of different in length setae on outer margin. The outermost tuft consists of five long setae, middle tuft consists of six long setae and next to it located tuft of two short setae, and the innermost tuft has four long setae. Three triangular-shaped, elongated pale sclerites and five tufts of longer and shorter setae located above the each spiracle. The innermost tuft consists of four long setae. Laterally from it is tuft of three long setae. Further laterally, is tuft of four long setae and next to it is a single seta; the outermost tuft consists of two short setae. Spiracles are large, circular and close to each other. Distance between them less than diameter of a spiracle.
Anal field. Anus surrounded by four short, white and fleshy anal papillae. A few long setae present on anal segment.
