General distribution. China (Beijing, Hebei, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Shandong, Sichuan).

Remarks. Anthidiellum boreale is closely related to A. strigatum (Panzer) , the type species of the genus, but it is different from A. strigatum (Panzer) as noted by Wu (2004b). The latter is broadly distributed from Europe and North Africa to the Russian Far East and Korea ( Proshchalykin, 2007). Anthidiellum strigatum exhibits morphologically variation among the described subspecies and it is conceivable that A. boreale belongs in this complex. A global taxonomic revision is needed.
