Genus Humptulipsia Kiel, 2008

Type species: Abyssochrysos raui Goedert & Kaler, 1996 (by original designation); middle Eocene Humptulips Formation , Washington State, USA .

Remarks: Kaim et al. (2008a) suggested that Humptulipsia might belong to the Hokkaidoconchidae , but without providing evidence for this opinion. Due to the lack of new data, especially on its protoconch morphology, the genus is here provisionally retained in the Abyssochrysidae .
