Embolemus walkeri Richards 1951: 814 ; Olmi et al. 2014a: 432. Holotype: ♀ (China).

Females of Awaji-shima Island ( Figs 1, 2 ) were found along roots of a tree inside of a slope about 10 cm deep ( Fig. 3 ) together with nymphs of unidentified Cixiidae ( Fig. 1 ). The female collected in Chiba was found in the topsoil about 5 cm deep of a slope around fallow fields at valley bottom ( Fig. 4 ).

Material examined: [ Japan] 1 ♀, Chiba Pref., Kisarazu-shi, Izushima , 2.XII.2017, H. Kitaura leg. ( ELKU) ; 1 ♀, Hyogo Pref., Awaji-shima Is., Sumoto-shi, Yura-cho, Yura , 34°16'02.5''N, 134°56'36.9''E, 8.I.2018, H. Sawada leg. ( ELKU) ; 1 ♀, same as above, but H. Agemori leg. (ELKU).

Distribution. China (Zhejiang), South Korea, and Japan ( Kim & Lee 2016).
