Colurostylis castlepointensis Gerken & Lörz, 2007: 37 View in CoL View Cited Treatment –49, Figs. 1 View FIGURE 1 –10.
Material examined. None additional.
Diagnosis. Female and subadult male. Carapace without ridges, anterolateral angle not serrate. Eyelobe without lenses. Pseudorostrum blunt. Antennule peduncle of 3 articles. Uropod peduncles longer than pleonites 5 and 6 together, uropod exopod longer than endopod, exopod setae spatulate with subterminal setule.
Adult male. Pereonite 5 sharply produced posteriorly. Antennule with brush of setae terminally, aesthetascs on main flagellum short. Antenna extending to posterior border of pleonite 6. Telson without subterminal setae.
Remarks. Colurostylis castlepointensis is most similar to C. longicauda and C. pseudocuma , as all three species have a smooth carapace without oblique ridges. Colurostylis castlepointensis can be differentiated from C. longicauda by the anterolateral angle, smooth in C. castlepointensis and serrate in C. longicauda . Colurostylis castlepointensis can be differentiated from C. pseudocuma by the uropod rami, subequal in C. pseudocuma and with the exopod longer than the endopod in C. castlepointensis .
