Telsimia bicolor Kapur
Telsimia bicolor Kapur, 1969: 54 .— Poorani 2002: 316.
Diagnosis. Form small, almost rounded, dorsum strongly convex with sparse, semi-erect pubescence. Ground colour dark brown to black, elytra with a pair of yellowish spots in the apical one-third of elytra. Genitalia illustrated by Kapur (1969). The elytral pattern is somewhat similar to Telsimia pygmaea sp. n., but T. bicolor was described based on females and the elytral pubescence in T. bicolor was stated as ‘sparse’ and ‘semi-erect’ by Kapur (1969).
Distribution. India: Andamans (Great Nicobar); Singapore.
