Distribution and remarks: known from southern Angola and Namibia and from Cape Point in South Africa to southern Mozambique, and possibly also southern Madagascar. A sole record for Gabon: ANSP 12361-1865 “Gaboon [presumably Gabon River�, Gabon, West Africa” is a probable misidentification according to the known distribution of the species.
