Specimens examined: Cerro P.Laguna - under N. antarctica , leaf litter XI- 2006 ( 4), Llao Llao - under N. dombeyi , leaf litter ( 1).
Remarks: Originally described from Argentina and Bolivia. Previously reported from that country [as Malaconothrus translamellatus Hammer ] from the provinces of Mendoza and Salta ( Hammer 1958), from the provinces of Río Negro, Santa Cruz and Tierra del Fuego ( Hammer 1962 b), from Chile ( Hammer 1962 a, Covarrubias 2004), South Georgia Islands ( Starý & Block 1995) and Falkland Islands ( Starý & Block 1996).
