Nallachius adamsi Penny, 1981 View in CoL
This species originally was described based on four males from Manaus, in the state of Amazonas ( Penny 1981). We examined another two males specimens collected near Areias Creek, a tributary of the Nhamundá River at the boundary between the states of Amazonas and Pará. While this specimen was collected in Amazonas as was the original description, this is still a large range expansion, eastward and north of the Amazon River.
Material examined. BRAZIL: Amazonas: 2 males, Nhamundá River, Ig. Areias, 01°35’11’’S, 57°37’32’’W, 17-20.v.2008, J.A. Rafael and team, CDC trap.
