Chonocephalus wirthorum Disney, 1980: 363 View in CoL (1 male only). Misidentification. The recognition of this species from its description alone has caused problems. Examination of the holotype reveals that Borgmeier overlooked the shorter left lobe of the hypandrium and labelled the right gonopod as the right lobe instead.
