Chonocephalus comptoni sp. nov.

The name refers to Dr Stephen Compton who gave me the specimen.
Male. Length and greatest breadth of postpedicel subequal. Lobes of hypandrium as Fig. 32. Posterior face of hind femur and tibia as Fig. 31. Wing 1.0– 1.1 mm long. Costal index 0.51–0.52. Vein 3 without a terminal vesicle and extending only slightly beyond tip of costa. All tibiae are pale brown.
Material. Holotype male, Costa Rica, Guanacaste, Volcan Rincon , April 1984, R. Baker, leg. S. Compton ( CUMZ, 6-45).
