TYPE LOCALITY: Egypt, Thebes (near Luxor) .
DISTRIBUTION: Central Arabia; Israel; Sinai; Egypt to Morocco, Senegal, Benin, Somalia and Kenya, thence south to South Africa in open country; Zanzibar and Pemba.
SYNONYMS: aduna, affinis , albiventer , angolensis , aurantiaca, brockmani, capensis , damarensis , discolor , /uliginosa, labiata , media , najdiya, revoilii.
