Eurynotus View in CoL ( Biolus) graafi Koch 1954a: 279 .– Kamiński 2016: 235.

Diagnosis: Koch (1954a) noted this species size in his ori - ginal description, crediting B. graafi with the status as the lar - gest species. With the reinstatement of B. asperipennis (length 19–22 mm; width 8–11 mm), B. graafi can no longer be clearly separated by size. However, B. graafi can be separated from other species by the nature of the punctation of the head and pronotum (coarse and confluent); and from similar species using the sculpturing of the elytra and epipleura (both with intense microtuberculation). Additionally, the pronotum and abdominal ventrite V bear small, micropunctures; absent in other species.

Redescription: Length 17–20 mm; width 10–12 mm. Head: Coarsely punctate, punctures confluent. Mentum without ap - ical notch. Eye with impressed sulcus situated around perim - eter of dorsal lobe. Prothorax: Pronotum punctures closely spaced to confluent, with smaller interstitial micropunctures.

378 • Lumen and Kamiński

Hypomeron rugose, with large and shallow punctures. Pterothorax: Elytron not costate, with macrotubercles on disc with microtubercles distributed between. Epipleura with many, large microtubercles along entire length. Abdomen: Coarsely punctate, with small interstitial micropunctures. Abdominal ventrite V punctures closely spaced by ≤1 puncture diameter with larger, setigerous punctures and smaller micropunctures intermixed. Females with median apical notch. Legs: Male and Female legs unmodified. Tarsi with golden setae. Males: pro/meso tarsi without large, ventral, tomentose pads. Male terminalia: Parameres broadly tapered and rounded apically. Female terminalia: Bursa copulatrix with accessory pouch and without sclerites.
