Distribution. Eastern part of the Mediterranean Region of Turkey: Hatay, Kahramanmaraş, S.E. of Kayseri provinces ( Fig. 846 ).

Remarks. The type locality of this species, Akbez, was given in Syria, but is in the Hatay Province of Turkey. The specimens given under Paranocaracris rubripes subrubrata by Demirsoy (1973: 426, 1977: 82) from Hakkari belong to N. karadagi sp. nov., the specimens from Erzurum belong to N. tridentatus ( Stshelkanovtzev, 1916) .
