Distribution.
Rare species, known from Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and Sweden; larvae are xylophagous and occur in shaded slope spring areas and some other habitats with decaying organic matter ( Ježek 2003; Ježek and Omelková 2012).
