Material examined. UKRAINE: lvano-Frankivsk Region : 1 ♀, Mochary, 5 km NE of Bogorodchany, 48.505117°N, 24.352691°E, 300–350 m, mixed forest, Malaise trap 8, 15–31.viii.2014, leg. O. Varga ( SIZK) GoogleMaps .
Distribution. Holarctic, Neotropical and Oriental regions; first record for Ukraine.
Taxonomical remark. A very widespread and variable species ( Horstmann, 2003). Characteristic features are: mesopleuron usually dark, with scattered to moderately dense punctation; 2 nd tergite black basally, with halfmoonshaped yellow apical spot; apical tergites blackish dorsally; face yellow or brownish.
