Notes

Not to be confused with Ichneumon peregrinator sensu Thunberg , now I. oblongus (e. g. Hedwig (1927)). In the Netherlands, specimens of B. peregrinator were found on the wooden information panels of a nature reserve during two consecutive winter seasons (2022–2023 and 2023–2024) so far.
