Delvasi View in CoL Complex
Two species comprise the Delvasi Complex: H. delvasi Delgado & Collantes 1996 , and H. stellula ( Figs. 96 View FIGURE 96 , 97 View FIGURE 97 ). These are small to medium sized species (ca. 1.23–1.42 mm), which have the pronotum with a more or less distinct dark fascia or macula. The species differ somewhat in dorsal habitus, and are considered to be related because of the aedeagal form: the distal part of the aedeagus has 3–4 lobes, the dorsal surface of the main piece has spinose projections, and the parameres are very short, originating on the ventral face of the main piece, near the distal part of the aedeagus. The currently known species are from Colombia and Venezuela ( H. delvasi ), and Ecuador ( H. stellula ).
