Dunaxeus duosetosus View in CoL sp. nov.
( Fig. 1–3 View FIGURE 1 View FIGURE 2 View FIGURE 3 )
Diagnosis. This species resembles D. elongatus but differs from the latter by the presence of 2 setae on basifemur IV of the female instead of 1 seta; by the presence of broken striae on the venter of the hypostome instead of denser striae and by the shape of the idiosoma that is not elongated as in D. elongatus . Also the absence of a pe organ on tarsus I.
Female ( Fig. 1–2 View FIGURE 1 View FIGURE 2 ). (1 specimen measured). Dimensions. Idiosoma: length 230 and width 150.
Dorsum ( Fig. 1A View FIGURE 1 ). Propodosomal plate, provided with broken striae, carries two pairs of finely setose sensillae vi 57 and sce 57, smooth setae ve 20 and finely setose setae sci 15, The hysterosomal plate is poorly defined. Hysterosomal setae c1 17, d1 18, e1 19, f1 21 and h1 17 finely setose; setae c2 9 and h2 10 smooth.
Venter ( Fig. 1B View FIGURE 1 ). Coxal plates poorly demarcated but have a denser striae pattern. One pair of propodogastral setae, 1 pair of paracoxal setae and 2 pairs of hysterogastral setae. The genital valves are also poorly demarcated. One pair of paragenital setae and four pairs of genital setae in straight longitudinal row. Two pairs of genital papillae.
Gnathosoma ( Fig.1C–E View FIGURE 1 ). Hypostome 87 long with 4 pairs of hg -setae [hg1, 10; hg2, 15; hg3, 20; hg4, 15] and two pairs of adoral setae. The hg4 seta is on the coxal region. Three-jointed palp 48 long. Trochanter without seta; femurogenu, 6 sts; tibiotarsus, 5 sts, 1 asl terminal. Chelicera 85 long and cheliceral setae lacking.
Legs ( Fig. 2A–D View FIGURE 2 ). Length of legs: I 140, II 120, III 140, IV 160; length of tarsi: I 51, II 41, III 40, IV 43. The leg chaetotaxy is as follows: coxae I—IV, 3 sts— 2 sts— 3 sts—2 sts; trochanters I—IV, 1 sts— 1 sts— 2 sts— 1— sts; basifemora I—IV, 4 sts—4 sts—3 sts—2 sts; telofemora I—IV, 4 sts—4 sts—3 sts—2 sts; genua I—IV, 4 asl, 5 sts—2 asl, 5 sts—1 asl, 5 sts—2 asl, 5 sts; tibiae I—IV, 1 asl, 5 sts—1 asl, 5 sts—1 bsl, 1 lts, 4 sts—1 lts, 4 sts; tarsi I—IV, 4 bsl, 1 dtsl, 2 tsl, 16 sts—1 bsl, 1 dtsl, 1 tsl, 13 sts— 1 ks, 1 tsl, 12 sts—1ks, 10 sts.
Male ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 ). (1 specimen measured). Dimensions. Idiosoma: length 200 and width 120.
Dorsum ( Fig. 3A View FIGURE 3 ). The dorsum is similar to that of the female; with one pair of sensillae vi 49, setae ve 15, setae sci 13, sensillae sce 49, c1 12, c2 7, d1 12, e1 12, f1 12, h1 9 and h2 7.
Venter ( Fig. 3B View FIGURE 3 ). The venter resembles to that of the female, but differs from the latter by the presence of only one pair of hysterogastral setae and by having smaller genital valves.
Gnathosoma . The gnathosoma is similar to that of the female. Hypostome 70 long with 4 pairs of hg -setae [hg1, 10; hg2, 13; hg3, 15; hg4, 10] and two pairs of adoral setae. Three-jointed palp 38 long. Chelicera 69 long.
Legs ( Fig. 3C–F View FIGURE 3 ). Length of legs: I 130, II 110, III 120, IV 130; length of tarsi: I 45, II 37, III 35, IV 40. The leg chaetotaxy differs from that of the female as follows: basifemora I–IV with 3 sts—3 sts—2 sts—12 sts; genua I—IV with 4 bsl, 5 sts—2 bsl, 5 sts—2 bsl, 5 sts—2 bsl, 5 sts and tibiae I–II with 2 bsl, 5 sts—1 bsl, 5 sts.
