H o s t r e c o r d: BALLARD (1921) reported C. carbonator MARSHALL as a parasitoid of Spodoptera mauritia (BOISDUVAL) ( Lepidoptera : Noctuidae ) in India. It was also reported as a parasitoid of Spodoptera litura F. ( Lepidoptera : Noctuidae ) (RAO & SATYANARAYANA 1984; YU et al. 2012). In Europe, it was reported as a parasitoid of the European corn borer, Pyrausta nubilalis ( THOMSON 1928) . Also, YU et al. (2012) reported Cydia janthiana (DUPONCHEL) ( Lepidoptera : Tortricidae ) as another host of this species.
