"KTN 06 Gua Ikan, Kelantan (5°21'14"N, 102°01'33"E)".
Remarks.
Alycaeus ikanensis is similar to the other taxa described by Foon and Liew, which are treated here as subspecies of Stomacosmethis kapayanensis . The original description states that A. ikanensis is most similar to A. costacrassa and differs from that species in its smaller and more slender shell. Again, these traits are enough for subspecific distinction, and slight differences in size and shell shape are insufficient for differences at the species level.
