Lectotype (Codd in Bothalia 7: 81. 1958): Herb. Linn. No. 1228.16 (LINN).

Current name: Albizia lebbeck (L.) Benth. ( Fabaceae : Mimosoideae ).

Note: Fawcett & Rendle ( Fl. Jamaica 4: 145. 1920) indicated unspecified material in BM as “type”, but there appears to be no original material for the name preserved there. Codd’s is the first explicit type choice.
