scientific name

Alcidodes ramezei
status

disc in ramezei View in CoL , not, or barely so, in curranae ; from themus by the elytral strial punctures, which are much broader in themus (®gure 55) than curranae (®gure 56).

Comments. There is some variability in the degree of fusion of the parameres, and in the length of the aedeagus; neither is signi®cant, nor are there enough specimens to detect whether this is correlated with host, although given that all the specimens were collected in the same area this is unlikely.

Etymology. The species is named for Dr Lisa Curran, whose eOEorts in collecting and documenting the hosts has enabled a light to be shed on a confusing area of insect-host interactions.
