Holotype: 1 worker, COSTA RICA, Heredia: La Selva Biological Station , 10.43360 −84.01249 ± 20m, 50m, 2-May-1993, Bosque Primario, Suelo (ALAS, B/10/074) [UCR, unique specimen identifier CASENT0644367] GoogleMaps . PARATYPES: same data as holotype [queen: CASC; worker: CASC, DZUP, JTLC, MCZC, UCD, UNAM, USNM].
