Description. Length of male 9.4–10.7 mm, female 10.3–10.7 mm. Other external characters as in O. orbona .
Coloration. As in O. lepida , showing similar range of variation ( Fig. 11 View FIGURE 11 A–I). Abdominal terga VIII–IX and anal tube of all studied specimens purple.
Male terminalia. As in O. lepida ( Fig. 11 View FIGURE 11 J–P).
Female terminalia. Sternum VII ( Fig. 11 View FIGURE 11 Q) as in O. orbona . Vestibulum ( Fig. 11 View FIGURE 11 R) with rectangular posterior extension as long as or slightly longer than wide at base. Sternum VIII sclerite ( Fig. 11 View FIGURE 11 R, shaded) unpaired, longitudinal, unsculptured, lying atop vestibulum extension, in dorsal view distinctly depressed along midline, with anterior margin convex and somewhat produced, posterior margin slightly concave. Genital chamber sclerites absent. Bases of 1st valvulae in ventral view ( Fig. 11 View FIGURE 11 S) rounded, with spinose microsculpture. Other characters as in O. orbona .

Etymology. From the Latin pelvis (basin), referring to the distinct shape of the female sternum VIII, concave in dorsal view.
Notes. The males of this species could not be differentiated from the males of O. lepida sp. n.
