Tachysphex turneri sacalava Arnold, 1945:106 View in CoL . Syntypes: Madagascar: no specific locality ( MNHN).
Diagnosis. The species is characterized by having the lower margin of the mandible notched, a partly or all black hindtibia, and the hindtibia is entirely setose. This is the only described Holotachysphex species from Madagascar. Geographic distribution. Madagascar.
Material examined. MADAGASCAR: 1 female 1 male 30 Oct. – 9 . Nov. Tulear Province , Andohaeia Nat. Park, leg. M. Irwin (CSE).
