Diagnosis. The species is characterized by the the notched lower mandibular margin in combination with a glabrous hindtiba and red to brown tibiae.
Geographic distribution. Subsaharan Africa, northwards to Ethiopia and Ghana. Material examined. SOUTH AFRICAN REPUBLIC: 1 female 4.i.2010 25 km W Jansenville (OLL) . ZIMBABWE: 1 male 19.xii.2012 60 km NNW Bulawayo (OLL).
