Type Locality: W Cameroon, Mt Oku.
Vernacular Names: Mount Oku Lamottemys.
Distribution: Known only by a few specimens from Mt Oku ( Dieterlen and Van der Straeten, 1988; F. Petter, 1986).
Conservation: IUCN – Endangered.
Discussion: Palatal ridges described and contrasted with Oenomys hypoxanthus by Fülling (1992).
