Distribution. H. senata is one of the more common and widely distributed species in North America, known from New Brunswick and New York to Alberta and California, North and South Carolina and Florida as well as from Romania and Russia ( Roback 1971: 240; Oliver et al. 1990: 11; Spies 1999; Epler 2003, 2010; Caldwell 2009; Ashe & O’Connor 2009: 160).
