Current name: Stachys arvensis (L.) L. View in CoL ( Lamiaceae ).

Note: Codd (in Leistner, Fl. Southern Africa 28(4): 70. 1985) indicated Clifford material as type but as the protologue contains no reference to Hortus Cliffbrtianus (1738), such a specimen cannot be original material for the name.
