Taxonomy. Crosnier (1962), Nguyen & Ng (2010)

Geographical distribution. Western Indian Ocean, Hawaiian Is., and presumably other locations in the Indo-West

Pacific region.

Habitat. Shallow subtidal, 20–29 m.
