Specimens examined. Jarabacoa (Cordillera Central), 30 -IX- 2008, one female on Psidium guajava L. ( Myrtaceae ). Manabao (Cordillera Central), 30 -IX- 2008, three females on Ocotea leucoxylon (Swartz) Lanessan ( Lauraceae ); five females on an unidentified plant.

Remarks. This species has previously been recorded from Puerto Rico. Until now, this species was known only from the original description. The setal measurements of five females collected are slightly longer than those given in the description of the species. Dorsal shield, 254 µm long (250–260) and 174 wide (162–192); ventrianal shield, 91 µm long (88–93) and 67 wide (65–68).
