Remarks. This species has previously been recorded from Antigua, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Galapagos, Guadeloupe, Jamaica, Les Saintes, Marie-Galante, Martinique, Mexico, Nicaragua, Perú, Saint-Martin, USA and Venezuela. Measurements of the single female collected agree well with the values of the holotype given by Chant & Yoshida-Shaul (1983b), except for setae j1 and j3, which are 20–25% longer in the specimen from the Dominican Republic.
