Tomarus pilcopataensis López-García & Deloya, 2019: 134 View Cited Treatment
Diagnosis. Tomarus pilcopataensis can be recognized by the antennal club subequal in length to antennomeres 2–7; clypeus narrowed towards apex (base 2.5 times wider than as apex); frontoclypeal tubercles transverse; pronotum with large, dense punctures; pronotal tubercle small; pronotal fovea shallow and narrow; protibial with 3 long teeth and an additional basal denticle; apex of metatibia with 33 spinules; parameres with lateral teeth short, widely triangular, apical third narrowed, apices outwards ( Figs. 24–25 View FIGURES 23–26 ).

Temporal distribution. December (1).
Distribution. Amazonia of Peru ( López-García & Deloya 2019).
Natural history. The only known specimen was collected at 600 m.
